FrostofDoom was created as a solo project by Allie Frost in 2016, at the time Allie was living in Chicago, IL. She produced and recorded an 11 track self-titled demo and began performing at open mic nights in the Chicago-land area all throughout 2017. FrostofDoom fuses together 90's goth rock, 80's darkwave, dreamy shoegaze elements, and alternative dark dance; all which are propelled around Allie's haunting ethereal vocal style.
In 2018, Allie relocated back to her home state of Massachusetts and recruited two other musicians for live performances. Local Metal musician (and husband to Allie) Maestro Morte of Blacksoul Seraphim, and local Darkwave/Electro musician, Daeva Stark of Era Nocturna.
FrostofDoom has since performed around Boston with such notable acts as The Gothsicles, Pilgrims of Yearning, Komrades, & others. Before times changed, FrostofDoom had 3 live shows in early 2020. The last being on March 10th in Boston, celebrating Allie's birthday at the legendary Machine Nightclub for their monthly goth night Cellar Door / The Attic. This was the last show at Machine, as the club closed down permanently during the pandemic just weeks to follow.
FrostofDoom is currently working on their first full LP release, "Formula 86" to be announced at a later date.
